Since 1974 WEBBY Dance Company® has been bringing a unique program of dance, creative movement and tumbling to child care centers and private schools. Getting it's start in Long Beach, California, WEBBY Dance Company® is now operating in over 350 schools in 3 states. We are a family owned business with corporate headquarters in Ohio and California.

"We provide the children with a fun and nurturing environment, thus, they are able to experience the joys of self expression and movement." Dance class begins with warm-ups and stretching exercises. We then introduce ballet techniques and movement across the floor. Next, the children dance to their favorite music while using fun props (i.e. maracas, tambourines, pom pons, leis and much more). Tap technique is introduced with songs and choreographed dances. The children are also taught basic tumbling skills.

WEBBY Dance Company® instructors are fun loving, energetic and positive. Our carefully selected staff has extensive dance training and experience working with children. The ongoing teacher training program ensures top quality dance education for your school. Our staff is finger printed with clearance numbers on file. WEBBY Dance Company® teachers are trained in positive language and the latest training techniques.

WEBBY Dance Company® handles all bookkeeping, attendance records, progress reports, etc..., therefore, leaving you free of any obligation regarding our services All dance tuition is mailed directly to our office. The dance class is available to perform at your school's events with no charge to the parents.

Please call our office to set up your complimentary demonstration class. Dance classes will be scheduled on days and times that conveniently fit into your schedule. We will bring posters and flyers to distribute to your parents. Our goal is to provide the best service possible for your school.

DANCE CLASSES FOR THE YOUNG CHILD: Dance helps build motor control, body relationships and a sense of direction, as well as developing the imagination and refining cognitive skills such as critical thinking. Group activities such as learning dance steps and singing songs build social skills, such as cooperation, teamwork and self-esteem.

DANCE CLASSES FOR ELEMENTARY CHILDREN: Dance classes at elementary age are an excellent source of exercise and socialization. Our noncompetitive atmosphere encourages every child to feel welcome, free to express themselves and open to growth through movement. Participating in a dance class at elementary level not only develops the child's mind and body, but strengthens problem-solving and critical thinking skills, adding to overall academic achievement and success.

TODDLER CLASS: Our Toddler Class (ages 2-1/2 to 3 years) gives the young child a 30-minute class in "creative movement" and tumbling.

PRESCHOOL CLASS: The Preschool Class (ages 3 and 4 years) is a "combination" class, including tap dance, pre-ballet and tumbling. The students dance with pompons, magic wands, maracas, tambourines and other numerous props. Songs and dances are age-appropriate, making it easy to learn and giving the young child a strong sense of accomplishment.

ELEMENTARY CLASS: Our beginning combination classes for the elementary-age child include jazz and tap dance. Students learn to dance in a noncompetitive atmosphere using age-appropriate music and dance routines. Technique is taught and incorporated into the dance routines.
